The Somali Archery Federation successfully organized an inter-university archery competition at Zamzam University, Garasbaaley Campus, bringing together students from universities across the country to showcase their talent in the growing sport of archery.
This initiative is part of the Federation’s ongoing commitment to support and develop archery at the grassroots level, particularly within Somali universities, where young athletes are nurtured to become future champions.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including leaders from Zamzam University, representatives of the Somali National Olympic Committee, officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the President of the Somali Table Tennis Federation, and the President of the Somali Archery Federation, Mr. Abdullahi Abow Hussein.
The Federation continues to play a vital role in encouraging youth participation in archery, fostering unity among universities, and creating opportunities for Somali students to engage in sports that promote discipline, focus, and excellence.
