The Arab Archery Federation’s Board of Directors elections were a great success in its new electoral cycle 2024-2028, and Saudi Ibrahim Al-Dosari retained the presidency.
Saad Al-Mashhadani was elected as Secretary-General, while Sudanese Ahmed Tariq was elected as First Deputy, Jassim Al-Sulaiti and Hamid Al-Musharakh as two deputies, with Reham as the fourth deputy for the women’s quota. This took place in the elections for the Executive Office of the Arab Archery Federation, which took place on Thursday morning, December 5, in the Hali Hall at the Ramada Hotel in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah.
The winners achieved Arab consensus by winning fifteen votes out of a total of fifteen votes, which is the total of those who voted for a new Board of Directors until the year 2028. The winners in the elections appreciated the confidence of the Arab General Assembly and considered this success an appreciation for the roles of the winners.
Al-Mashhadani considered this new victory in the Board of Directors of the Arab Archery Federation the fruit of the confidence of the wise leadership of the previous Council of the Arab Archery Federation. As for the competitions for members of the Executive Office, five candidates won out of the eight who ran for membership elections, and it was crowned with the victory of Saad Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, who was then chosen as Secretary-General, alongside Dr. Maan Barakat, President of the Palestinian Federation, as a permanent member of the Executive Office. Karim Al-Badri from Jordan, Ziad Saboura from Syria, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayaghi from Yemen.
